Other Nutritional Information
While its calorie count is lower than average at 110 calories per serving, it is also basically carb-free at less than 1g of carbs and sugar. Its cholesterol and sodium content is the lowest among all the reviewed products at 5mg and 45mg, respectively.
Taste and Mixability
Now, flavor is definitely not a selling point for this brand, as it has none. Personally, we have found the natural unflavored whey to be relatively tasteless, of course, we drank it with milk. The general consensus is that should you choose the natural unflavored version, it is best you don’t consume it with plain water. Some people apparently have a high tolerance for tasteless liquids and appear to consume it just fine with water, while others have described it as ‘absolutely disgusting’. Mixability is great, and this product dissolves with just a few stirs or shakes.
Final Verdict: Simply excellent value for money when you consider that it is a 100% whey isolate. Ideal for those with lactose sensitivity or digestion issues. Would probably take some experimentation for you to find a drink to mix with or to sweeten it up to your liking.
